Hi, Don't be disheartened sometimes the body just stalls on us, as long as you are following the plate and bowl you may find that next weight in you have lost more than usual.

On the other hand it is always a good idea just to do a quick recap on what you have eaten over the week - if its all good then you should start losing again next week.

Remember that a 1lb loss is the size of a bag of sugar - a 5lb loss is five bags of sugar in volume!

A lb of muscle is the size of a tennis ball, whihc is why some who train hard and don't lose weight, change shape and lose inches instead.

Hi, Thought I would show everyone what a pound of human fat looks like, and what 5 lbs looks like besides the same weight in muscle.

Its good to be able to visualise it, because we rattle of a pound like it is nothing when in fact it is quite a large volume. Be happy a pound off is a pound nearer to goal!

OK folks....

I have been quiet in this thread as I have been working really hard... January 1st I weighed in at an embaressing 23 st 10lbs (having dropped to 19 and a half stone in the october. Yes I abused Christmas...

Having said that March the 1st I weighed in at 21 stone 9 lbs a loss of 2stone 1 lbs or 29lbs (depending on which weight system you use)

Glad to be back on the losing streak again :o)

Well done every one. Kay I did loose a pound and I am being honest. when you get to 50 it is harder to loose more each week even though you cut down.
I have another pound to go then half stone gone. clothes feel lighter too.
Kay can you tell me roughly how many calories each band is on diet bowl as some of gluten wheat free cereals are hard to know how much to put in.
