Hi Chrissy, I did a sneak preview this morning (my weigh in is Monday) and have lost 4lbs! Had a slip yesterday, someone cooked me cheese on toast because i mentioned i had not eaten dinner yet. (I was good all day).

I was served 2 x 1" thick slices of bread and reckon there was 2 ounces of chesse on each slice. Probably 800 calories minimum - I was hungry - I am cheeseaholic - I ate just 1 slice and a 1/4 of the second piece. Then I tucked into strawberries, banana and cream which my host served in a huge bowl...

I think it has probably made the difference of not losing and tomorrow I will see the damage and let you know. Still I am very pleased with 4lbs this week and I will continue on my weight loss journey.

6lb and 4lb is brilliant!

I had my 'day off' for someone's birthday day out yesterday, but tried not to be as 'bad as I would normally have been. Cut back on the alcohol, avoided getting bags of crisps with every drink. Still had my chocolate fix but if I can have that just once a week then I'll be happy.

Have had a Wetherspoons cooked veggy breakfast/lunch today as we'd stopped overnight, plus a pear but I knew that would be all I'd have until this teatime when I'll be back to the Plate. I'd cooked quorn chilli on Friday so there would be something here for when we got back so I can get back to the plate properly with no excuses to be getting takeaways on the way home as usual! Planning ahead really does help me.

Hope the cheese on toast and cream haven't done too much damage to your weigh in tomorrow Kay - are you planning for at least one day off a week anyway or going at it full throttle!?

Best of luck
Deb

Re:First Weigh in 2 Months ago Karma: 6
Hi Deb, It did, i weighed myself this morning and it said a 2lb 8oz loss, so not quite the 4lb but its still in the right direction and 2lb 8 oz less than i weighed last Monday.

I know what 1lb of fat looks like, so to lose more than 2 is great and at least I know where i went wrong.

Today I am being good again and not too hungry tonight either so will keep on track for next Monday.

The main thing is The Diet Plate works so well with litle effort from me that I know I can do it, I have no reason not too! lol

That's still a great loss Kay, it would be daft to be disappointed at a smaller loss than hoped, too easy to get de-motivated then. Anything lost rather than put on every week is a bonus and a great incentive to keep it up. It's quite a challenge to get weighed on a Monday straight after a weekend when there is more likelihood of treats - must admit I always like my Friday weighs so that after a 'day off' at the weekend there is 5 good days to go at before the next weigh in.

Best wishes and good luck over the week

Hi Kay

Sounds like you are doing a good job again keep up the good work. this week at work there has been chocolate cake, fresh cream cakes and i have said no to all of them. 6lbs is nearly 3 backs of sugar lighter to carry around.

Take care

Hi Tracey,

I hope you enjoyed your holiday, good luck with getting back to using your diet plate, it is easy to look at it and not use it but then our potions sizes creep up mine certainly do .

My weight has plateaued still 11st 7lb nothing lost but nothing gained so keeping postive.

Good luck
