As for support we will be using these forums to offer support at the moment, if it is something personal and you dont want to share it on the forums then feel free to drop us a line at support@thedietplate.com ;o)

Thanks

Don't know about you but I am starting to go on and on about this plate and it's help with portion size education. I am hoping it will be a great success worldwide! I wonder if i could buy shares?

Hi. I have had the plate for 2 weeks now but desperately need the 8 weeks course to help me get motivated. Is this course starting soon? I hope so. I haven't lost any weight so far but I don't think I am using the plate properly.

Re:8 week course 3 Months ago Karma: 6
Hi Guys, I can only apologise and ask for patience on the course, i am meeting with a new dietitian this week as my last one, well... I know excuses excuses excuses - I do hope to placate you all with free membership as i want everybody on here to test and comment and give me ideas.

I do have a question? Although the course will have substance and science behind it, as a former size 26 I want to write this course from a real lifestyle aspect for real people. I am concerned about it sounding too scientific.

What would you like to see, real life and real situations, academic dietary advice or a mixture of the two? I am not academic, ie: not a dietitian, my experience comes from the otherside of the fence - like eating over the kitchen sink when I am "starving" rather than making a proper sit down and eat slowly meal!

What would you like to see - anedotally witten with humour - or pure science or a mixture of the two which I am moving towards?

Meanwhile if you are not using the plate properly and are stuck on the booklet then you can always give us a ring directly on 01457 862446, we are here to help too!

Just to let you all know, the new dietitian is very keen and she has some extra ideas that she has brought to the table whcih have quite bowled me over. Christine is working to a schedule and I hope we will have a draft ready by the end of July, if I can get this live, it will be ready for you guys to pick over and make suggestions etc.

Chrissy, I hope to have a recipe section - I want everybody to contribute a favourite recipe and members will be able to vote on and star rate it. The best of them (with permission) will be written up for part of The Diet Plate book!

I'm new here and couldn't understand why I couldn't get onto the 8 week course but after reading this it explains why. My plates arrived today and I was really excited (sad I know), my children both have plates aswell as I have an 8 year old girl who doesn't eat enough and an 11 year old boy who eats far too much so Im hoping this will help me with their portions.

Re:8 week course 2 Weeks, 4 Days ago Karma: 0
We are now in the last week of August and I am longing to start the 8 week course. I have been putting off serious dieting until it starts and I want to be in on the challenge from the very start. I am getting used to using the plate now and love it, but I am not sticking to dieting for the rest of the day. Please oh please say the diet is starting soon.

Hi. I've just ordered my diet plate. Seems the only time I lose weight is when I'm pregnant when i physically can't eat my usual portions. Definitely suspect too many piggy portions have been my downfall so would love more info on the course when it is ready
