Starting Out 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have had the Diet Plate in my cupboard for months and have put off using it. I now weigh an incredible 17.5 stones. I have many health issues and take a cocktail of drugs. This really is my last chance I feel. Would love to hear from people in similar boat and share highs and lows. Wish me luck !!!! Will make Monday my weigh in day .

I am in a same situation! I have the plates sitting there just waiting to be used and I just haven't committed until now. But I need to do this. I am in the U.S. and have almost 100 lbs to lose! Plus I am prediabetic so balanced eating is really important.

I too need to lose 100 lbs and would even settle for half of that. I am female, aged 58, and have another grandchild due in June. What an incentive. Do you fancy being a sort of diet plate buddy ? We could support each other if you would like. Am off to France for a few days but have resolved to start in earnest when I return.I am in the UK and my only trips to USA have been to Florida and Georgia-- fab !! Loads of big women!!
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I joimed but the opening hours weren't compatible with my job. I now only work part time so may go back now. It is quick and female only and no glamour pusses in lycra. All sizes and ages, so worth a go. Also you can use any centre in the world.

I heard great things about curves - my mother in law went.
It's supposed to be really good and the set up doesn't make you feel self conscious

Thanks for the encouragement, go on Monday to have a look around but sure I will be joining. Spoke to a friend tonight who's been going for about 2 months now and she has lost 13 inches but no weight. That I don't mind as long as the inches come off. Over 20 years since I was last in a gym and did well with that so really looking forward to it.

I used to belong to a gym but found I ran out of time (silly job!) to get there. So, it's back to using my bike for travelling everywhere, and doing more walking. Getting back into the groove after Christmas has been difficult, but I'm back on track now.

Keep on keeping on everyone!
